About The Chef


Chef Sweety Singh also known as Harjinder Singh has been cooking up Punjabi Food since the age of 19 years. Singh runs a popular Dhabba ‘Punjabi Khanna’ aka ‘Kake Di Hatti’ at Asaf Alli road, Delite Cinema, near the Delhi Stock Exchange. Since childhood, Sweety Singh got acquainted with the Punjabi food business as his father Gyani Santokh Singh used to run a Dhabba.

Years later Sweety continued the business started by his father and also started a catering business, all this without any formal training in cooking. It was New Delhi based Chef Manjeet Singh Gill, senior co-operative chef, ITC Sheraton Group, spotted talent in Sweety.

The first food fest was at ITC Park Sheraton, Chennai in December 1998. Since then he has been doing Punjabi Food Fest in various groups of hotels including ITC Sheraton, Oberoi, Radisson, Fortune group of hotels, BJN Groups, Oris Group, Marriot, Jaypee Continental, Mumtaz Mahal (Muscat) to name a few.
